The Kenmore 44102 is a compact front load washing machine that can be stacked with its match in dryer. It is perfect for laundry rooms with limited space, and the front loading design makes it an efficient washer in a compact package. It has the most common presets that are useful for home laundry including Permanent Press, Delicates, Hand Wash, and Soaking. This makes it perfect for practically all your washing needs.

The Kenmore 44102 has 4 spin speeds with a maximum of 950 RPM. Water levels are adjusted automatically depending on the amount of laundry. Water temperatures can be set to one of four levels.

The controls on this washing machine are strictly mechanical. While this may be a negative for those who prefer digital controls, keep in mind that digital controls are more prone to water damage and expensive to replace. The mechanical controls on the Kenmore 44102 have a solid feel and are easy to operate.

The Kenmore 44102 is only available in white and the tub is made from heavy-duty stainless steel which will extend the life of the washing machine considerably. There are dispensers for detergent, bleach, and fabric softener for completely automated clothes washing.

This is a quiet washing machine and has a respectable energy rating of 246 kWHrs per year. It comes with a one year Parts and Labor warranty.

The 44102 is a good performer thanks to its frontloading design. It is very gentle on the clothes and fairly quiet in operation. It needs to be set up completely level, however, otherwise there will be vibration noise during the spin cycle. Like many other washing machines in this price range, the Kenmore 44102 can be difficult to level properly. It may need repeated adjustments before settling into a permanent position which will provide dependable, quiet service.
